Reporting to the Statistician

The following are the requirements for reporting the scores of the PYSC games:

- Scores must be reported by 9:30 pm, on the same day of the game, by phone or e-mail. Failure to report on time will result in being penalized with a late fee: $5.00. If you don’t report at all, although you have refereed the game, you will be penalized $10.00 fee.

- When reporting scores to the Statistician you must use the player’s name, NOT the player’s number.

- If the game did not take place due to default (which means one team or both teams did not have the minimum number of players on the field), or was abandoned (which means the game was interrupted after it started due to an incident or inclement weather), you still must report this information to the statistician.

- In case of default, you must indicate which team did not have the minimum number of players.

- If you phone in the information, you can leave this information with the statistician or on her answering machine, before the deadline. She will call you at 9:30 p.m. if she hasn’t received your information. If that happens, it is considered a late call, so you will get penalized with a late fee.

- If you email the information to the statistician, you will receive a reply from her, acknowledging that she received that information.

Information to submit when reporting to the statistician:

1. Referee’s first and last name (e.g., John Doe)

2. Day and date of the game (e.g., Monday, May 11)

3. Kick-off time, which is the start time (e.g., 6:30 p.m.)

4. Field location (e.g., Eastgate #3)

5. Age division (e.g., U10 Boys, which is short for Under 10 Boys)

6. Names of the teams (e.g., Tim Hortons vs. Country Style)

7. Final score (e.g., Tim Hortons 3, Country Style 1)

8. Names of the goal scorers for each team

9. Name of the MVP player for each team
