Newsletter – February 2010
Dear referees of PYSC,
- Please inform your head referee right away
if you are not planning to ref for 2010
- If you are one of the referees who is Mini
Level and needs this year to attend either the mini clinic or the entry
clinic (you know who you are because I have contacted you all) please
contact Mike Smith ASAP to register. So far only half of the people who
said that are interested have contacted him with the registration form
and other formalities. Please remember that those of you who will
attend the Mini Clinic on April 11 or the Entry Clinic on March 27and
28 don’t have to attend any of the refreshing clinics provided on
Feb.11, March 25 or April 8..
- If you are a Youth District Ref or a
District Ref (so in other words all other referees who are higher level
than Mini referees), you have to attend one of the refreshing clinics.
The clinics are free of charge and you don’t have to
pre-register. Just show up and sign up. We have set up three different
dates for you. You will have to attend only one of them. If you would
like you can attend them all, however it is mandatory for you to attend
only one of them. The dates for
the clinics are as follows: Feb.11
/ March 25 / April 8. Each night at 7:00pm at Comfort Inn (1209
Lansdowne Street). So, as you can see the very first chance that
you will have is on Thursday, February 11 and the instructor is Mike
Smith.
- The registration on OSA website hasn’t
started yet, however feel free to check their website regularly atwww.ontariosoccer.net and see for
any updates.
- Last but not least, check our website where
you will find updated information all the time. Some rubrics need to be
revised and we are into the process of doing so.
Thank you,
Fevri
