Level
of Refereeing and Fees:
Mini Soccer Ref: Refs who are 12 and 13 years old
Youth District Ref: Refs who are 14 and 15 years old after they passed
the Entry Exam.
Junior District Refs: Refs who are 16 and 17 years old after they passed
the Entry Exam.
District Refs: Refs who are 18 years old or older after they passed the Entry Exam.
Annual OSA Fees:
Please remember that you don’t pay any
fees, at all to our club. All fees are paid to OSA.
Mini Refs Clinic and Entry Clinic:
If you are attending any of these clinics then you don’t pay annual membership fee for that year since it is covered by your Clinic fee (the most recent fees were $25 for Mini and $55 for Entry however be aware that fees vary by city that you take the clinic and also be aware that the fees might change without notice by OSA which is the one who sets the fees for the clinic).
As of 2012, if you do NOT pass the Entry level clinic you will NOT be eligible to ref. You will have to pass the Entry level clinic to be able to ref. If you fail to pass the Entry level clinic with your first try then you will be given the opportunity of a re-take free of charge.
If you pass the Entry level clinic successfully and then decide to return the following year you are considered a Returning Ref then you will have to pay renewal annual membership fee to OSA.
The most recent FEES due upon renewing of annual membership are indicated below:
Youth
District Ref Fees (14 or 15 by March 31of that
year): $25
Junior
District Ref Fees (16 or 17 by March 31 of that
year): $43
District Ref Fees (18 years old or older by March 31 of that year): $83
